A number of our London team gathered at the recent ICIC – “Madness – One Step Beyond” event. This was organised by the ICIC committee to get as many people from our market together again due to the planned conference for June 2021 having to be cancelled.
Despite the 2021 conference being cancelled, we are proud to still be sponsoring our Annual Recognition of Excellence Award, championed by AIMU (American Institute of Marine Underwriters) and MICA (Marine and Insurance Claims Association). This award is open to those who are under 35 and have worked within the UK/European marine market either in or via Lloyd’s, for at least a year and we are still accepting applications.
The prize? The winner will receive complimentary registration and a place on the U35’s Panel Session at ICIC Conference and return (economy) flights with 2 nights’ accommodation (hotel tbc) to New York. The winner must be available to participate at ICIC and to travel to New York for the AIMU Conference and MICA Dinner. As there are still restrictions and uncertainty over travel, this prize will be carried over to 2022.
