We have learned of an incident involving the vessel SSI AVENGER, a Marshall Islands flag, 2004 built, 29,414gt bulk carrier, on a voyage from Douala, Cameroon to Zhangjiagang, China, via Haiphong, Vietnam.

SSI AVENGER was reported to have run aground off Douala. The vessel is now underway but General Average has been declared and Blue Seas Adjusters Ltd in London appointed to collect security.
