SOUTHERN EXPLORER is a Panama flag, 2002 built, 88,552gt Bulk Carrier, on a voyage from Mauritius to Taiwan and Singapore, having previously called at India and Brazil.
BEST UNITY is a Panama flag, 1997 built, 35,885gt Bulk Carrier, on a voyage from China to Taiwan and Singapore, having previously called at European ports and Brazil.
Support vessels are reported to be nearby.
