NEW MYKONOS

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel NEW MYKONOS, a Panama flag, 1997 built, 81,152gt bulk carrier, which ran aground off Talgnaro, Madasgascar, laden with a cargo of coal, on a voyage from Richards Bay, South Africa to Visakhapatnam, India, on 28th February 2016.

The vessel remains aground as of today and professional Salvors, Smit Salvage have been engaged under terms of Lloyd’s Open Form.
