We have learned of an incident involving the vessel KIRAN, an India flag, 1994 built, 94,651gt bulk carrier, on a voyage from Ukraine to China.

It is reported that KIRAN ran aground whist navigating the Suez Canal, laden with a cargo of iron ore fines. Salvage operations are being undertaken by Titan Maritime LLC under Lloyd’s Open Form signed on 27th February 2015.
