EVER SMART

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel EVER SMART, a British flag, 2006 built 75,246gt fully cellular container ship on a voyage from Taipei to Los Angeles.

It is reported that the vessel lost at least 42 containers overboard, approximately 700 nautical miles East of Japan. Meteorologists had been tracking powerful, hurricane force low pressure over the North-western Pacific. EVER SMART is scheduled to arrive at destination port on 8th November.
