We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “CSCL YELLOW SEA”, a 2014 built 115,000gt fully cellular container ship at Los Angeles having previously called at Qingdao, Lianyungang, Shanghai and Ningbo and preparing to sail for Qingdao, Lianyungang, Shanghai and Ningbo.

It is reported that the vessel experienced shifting of cargo with the loss of 35 containers overboard on 16th October 2014 with a further 100 containers damaged and retained onboard. The vessel has obtained clearance from the USCG to enter Portland has now arrived at Los Angeles.
