The vessel was reportedly ‘stable’ this morning with four Indian coastguard vessels – Sachet, Sujeet, Samrat and Varaha – fighting the fire. We have been advised that salvors (Messrs SMIT Salvage BV) are engaged to offer assistance to the vessel. In this regard, cargo interests will be required to provide Salvage and/or General Average Guarantees before cargo will be delivered.
