We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “UNI FLORIDA”, a 2007 built 36,483gt Fully Cellular Containership which was recorded entering Jebel Ali 27th July with a significant collapse of containers.
It is understood that the Vessel has a capacity of 3,451 TEU and had previously called at African and Middle Eastern Ports. Video and photographic evidence from the scene suggests that the at least the two aft most rows of containers are seriously damaged.
