ANENOME

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel ANENOME, a Bahamas flag, 2007 built, 19,918gt Bulk Carrier, on a laden voyage with copper and fertiliser cargoes from Barquito and Tocopilla, Chile to various ports in China.

The vessel experienced engine problems in the Pacific Ocean. Unable to repair the main engine at sea, shipowners contracted Five Oceans Salvage under Lloyd’s Open Form. ANENOME is currently under tow off Lima, Peru, and expected to reach Bayaquan by the end of November.

If you are aware of any involvement in this casualty and W.E. Cox Claims Group may be of assistance in any way, including provision of GA / Salvage securities, we would be pleased to hear from you.
