We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “ALLEGRO”, a 2004 built 9,962gt fully cellular container ship. Having previously called at Italian Ports and intending to return to Italian Ports the vessel is currently located at Algeciras, Spain.

It is reported that the vessel lost a number of containers overboard with further containers toppling and whilst remaining on board having been damaged. The cause of the loss and the final outcome of the affected containers has yet to be determined.
