Incident:           Fire/Explosion

Further to our initial notice concerning explosion/fire onboard containership GRANDE BRASILE, we have been advised that the fire has reignited, resulting in the crew abandoning the GRANDE BRASILE and salvors (Messrs SMIT Salvage BV) being appointed to provide assistance on LOF terms. In this regard, cargo interests will be required to provide Salvage security before cargo will be delivered.

We understand that the Shipowners have yet to declare General Average.
