Incident:           Fire/Explosion

We have been advised that salvors (Messrs SMIT Salvage BV) have been engaged to provide assistance to the vessel on LOF terms. SMIT have confirmed that the vessel has been refloated and is now heading to anchorage. Cargo interests will be required to provide Salvage security before cargo will be delivered.

We understand that the Shipowners have yet to declare General Average but it is likely given the extent of the damage caused by the fire, which has yet to be extinguished.
