Casualty update - DALI - departing for Norfolk Va

Incident:             Allision with bridge – Refloated

Further to our earlier reports in relation to the above captioned incident, we can now advise that DALI is scheduled to depart for Norfolk Va on/about 18th June to undergo repairs, and that sound/unaffected containers will be discharged in Norfolk before the repair process commences.

Therefore, we again recommend that any cargo owners/insurers who have yet to provide/arrange GA/Salvage security proceed to do so as a matter of urgency.

As advised, W.E. Cox have been appointed on behalf of a number of cargo interests and are perfectly positioned to survey damaged cargoes, assist in salvage sale and loss mitigation as well as provide General Average and Salvage Securities.
