We have learned of an incident involving the vessel Shiling, a Singaporean flag, 53,807 gt, 2005 built, containership which issued a Mayday call after losing power off coast of S Island, 22 NM NNW of Farewell Spit, New Zealand on 12 May 2023. The container vessel has a capacity of 5,028teu is operated by Feedertech Private Limited and had previously called at Wellington and Auckland in New Zealand.
