W. E. Cox Claims Group are pleased to announce their youth soccer team sponsored through The West End Soccer League, has won the Championship for the u10 division.

The team swept through the regular season undefeated with a perfect record of 6-0-0, claiming the #1 seed for the playoffs, and an automatic berth to the semi-finals where they defeated Kinsley's Shop Rite 5-1.

In an exciting Championship Match against the #2 seed Northeast Site Contractors, the teams were deadlocked 0-0 at the half thanks to outstanding play by first half keeper Alex Toohey which included a breakaway save.

Our team opened the scoring early in the second half on a breakaway goal by Adrian Fimiarz into the lower corner of the net.

The opponents were relentless and the score remained 1-nil thanks to a tenacious defense and superb play by second half keeper Sean Droll, which included a diving stop on a cross through the crease just in front of the net.

Emma Bergstresser sealed any chances of opponents for overtime netting the breathing room goal off the cross bar with only 5 minutes to go in the match, and the scoring was closed by Billy Power just before the whistle sounded closing the match at 3-0.
