Incident: Containers overboard
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “APL ENGLAND”, a 2001 built 65,792gt Fully Cellular Containership which reported losing containers overboard on 24th May 2020.
It is understood that the Vessel has a capacity of 5,510 TEU was carrying containers between Ningbo, China and Melbourne, Australia when at least 40 containers were lost overboard. A further 74 containers are reported as being damaged.
