Incident: Fire

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “AUTO BANNER”, a 1988 built 52,422gt vehicle carrier. Having previously called at several North American ports and arriving at Incheon, SK a fire broke out on one of the cargo decks.

Whilst the circumstances and extent of the incident remain unclear footage obtained by local media suggest the fire could be relatively severe. We understand the vessel was loaded with approximately 2000 used vehicles bound for Libya.
