STAR OF SAWARA

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel STAR OF SAWARA, a Panama flag, 2008 built, 39,737gt Bulk Carrier, laden with cargo of fertiliser, on a voyage from Ust Luga to New Orleans.

The vessel ran aground in the western Baltic sea, north of Rostock, on the morning of 29th August and was refloated with the assistance of four tugs during the afternoon of 31st August.
