KOTA GANTENG

We have learned of an incident involving contact between the vessels KOTA GANTENG and GLOBAL APOLLON, near Guangzhou port.

KOTA GANTENG is a Singapore flag, 2002 built, 28,676gt fully cellular containership, on a voyage from Singapore to Chinese ports, having previously called at Dar es Salaam.

GLOBAL APOLLON is a Panama flag, 2015 built, 10,754gt chemical tanker, on a voyage from Port Klang to Chinese ports, having previously called at Haldia. It is reported that GLOBAL APOLLON was damaged, resulting in palm oil leaking from a hole in her hull.
