William Edward (Bill) Cox the founder of W.E. Cox Claims Group (on 4th July 1961) enjoyed a nostalgic brief visit to the Head Office in Gravesend whilst celebrating his 90th birthday.

Bill was a pioneer of the time offering recovery services to cargo insurers, initially in the London market, working on a “no-cure no-pay” basis. He started on his own with no support, initially working from the kitchen table of the family home in Lee Green, South East London.

He deservedly is a very proud man of what he started almost 55 years ago witnessing the company grow and become one of the leading claims and recovery service providers in the world and employing in excess of 70 people in nine offices, Gravesend, London, Manchester, Lille, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and the USA.

We have no doubt that everyone (particularly those who personally know Bill) wish him all the very best and congratulate him on reaching this milestone birthday of 90 years, and for having the foresight and nerve to start his own company back in 1961.
